That is most philanthropic of you ,
and very generous ,
would that, it would happen, while i am squaring off my overdraft at the bank LOL!!!!!
However you would be arrested ,
1) for carrying a gun ,
2)using threatening behavior
( the "or / else " part of this scenario)
3)And possibly for causing a breach of the peace !!
it is almost unheard of, for someone to give away their own asset ts ,without wanting something in return.
, So surprise and reticence, among all at the Bank ,will probably click in initially
. Then natural greed ,will step forward,
and relieve you of all your goodies ,
at an indecent speed before the law arrives .
Your background will be very closely investigated ,
to be sure it was your own money, and goods,
you were giving away.
And you may be subjected to psychiatrists reports.
All in all this will be a very trying day!!!!!!
a rich person, has no business ,to get bored .
SO, how about you sending this money,
directly to me ,to take care of --- mmmmmmmmmm?

On the Darwin Awards web site, there's an account of a guy who actually did something like that (not an actual Darwin Award, since nobody died, just an honorable mention). He went into a convenience store and asked for change for a $20 bill. When the cashier opened the register, he pulled a gun and demanded all of the money in it. He got away with about $15, but he forgot to take his $20 he'd put on the counter! LOL
Anyway, threatening someone with a gun is assault with a deadly weapon, which is a crime no matter what else transpired.

I don't know. It's hard to guess exactly what would happen. Why not try it and make a video for us? You'll probably have a day of fame in the news.
Headline:
"Man holds gun at a bank teller, while forcing them to take his money."
Would this be called disrobbery?

As soon as you pull they gun, they'll think you're robbing the bank. That's if you make it through the door with a big bag; they won't know what's in it and will think the worst right from the get go.

if you did that, you'd be arrested for making terrorist threats AND lose most of you money. I know if someone came into a bank and used a gun to make my take some of his money, I wouldn't tell the police how much I had. you gave it to me, it's mine!

Not a good idea, you want to give away stuff?? Go to a welfare office and give it to some people struggling to keep a roof over their heads. Donate to a good charity or shelter. Guns get people arrested.

You may get arrested for disturbance of the peace, being threatening, and probably a firearm offence.
The only difference is you won't get a robbery charge.

You will get arrested. That is considered intent to do harm. If you have a gun, then people assume that you are going to hurt them.

you would be put in a mental facillity.. you are STILL holding up people though, against their will. I think THAT is the crime in your theory.. you cant make people do what they dont want unless yer a cop.
