My apartment has a large number of spiders. I want to get ride of them.
We have a 5 month old baby, and i have seen 2 bites on her. I myself have eight bite marks on me now.
I have never had a problem with bugs before, so im not sure how to handle this.
Could someone please give me suggestions on how to get ride of the spiders that would be something my baby would be safe around.

Thank you.

There is a pesticide you can spray around the baseboards, doors, windows, etc. called Demon. I'm not sure if you want to spray the stuff while everyone is at home, but it will kill every bug in sight, especially spiders.

You can actually hire an exterminator to come to your apartment once a month, and spray for bugs (including spiders) around the perimiter of your walls (outside). I have this done on my house each month, and we very rarely see a spider. Also, do you have certain types of bushes/groundcover outside of your apartment, that might be coming into close contact with your apartment walls? If so, this would certainly increase the chances of the little buggers coming inside.

Discuss the issue with your landlord, and see if they would be willing to hire an exterminator, trim bushes, etc. (or let you handle it, if they're not willing)

You can either "bomb" the apartment with a pesticide available at local department or home improvement stores or you can call in an exterminator.

Once done, keep lavender sachets around. Most bugs hate the scent.

I heard that by placing "Unopened" WALNUTS around edges of walls and corners of rooms helps reduce amount of spiders. It works somewhat to a certain degree. But not 100%, but,... at least it's non-toxic.

LOOK FOR "HEDGEAPPLES" OUTSIDE THEY TEND TO FALLOUT OF VERY THORNY TREES IT LOOKS LIKE A MONKEYS BRAINS BUT THERE LIME GREEN IN COLOR. PLACE IT IN A PLASTIC CONTAINER AND PLACE WHERE THERES SPIDER ACTIVITY. THEY GIVE OFF AN AROMA THAT SPIDERS DONT LIKE AND THEYLL END UP EVACUATING THE PERMISIS AND ITS NOT TOXIC.
