Hey yahoo friends, im looking for a comedy monologue over a minute long. from like a movie, with no swearing or guesome or sick stuff in it. just clean humour for a script monologue in drama class. Please help me out here. If it is a song, its needs to be like a movie script, like gollum, or spiderman, only something really funn. One kid did gollum, another mirror scene with green goblin. I want/need something funny over a minute long. please. urgent!!!

I would seriously consider doing the Bugs Bunny/Elmer fudd rendition of the "Night at the Opera" where they sang Wagner. Or combine the scene from Blazing Saddles when Taggert and Hedey Lamar are discussing how to get rid of the people from rock ridge.

And my last suggestion is if you know the song from My Fair Lady "Why can't the English teach their children how to speak". Good luck.

The play is called "Road" By Jim Cartwright. Look for the Monologue from Valerie its her only piece in the play but its an amazing monologue. Its sad and has a lot of emotion. It is set up north but you could transpose it to now and like british accent. Good luck.

Check out your local library! You'll find many monologue books with all genres of scenes. I just did mine for acting class w/one of the books I found.
