I'm turning 5months/20weeks on sunday and I have not felt my baby kicking or moving I can feel the heartbeat if I touch under my belly. And the doctor made me listen to the heartbeat I'm totally scared cause it's my first and others tell me that they have had pregnancies and by 3 month they felt kicking. I'm due for the doctor next week. but this doctor I think he only wants my money each visits, because in no time after I go in he would say we are finish now and collect the money he does'nt allow his secretary to collect the money very strange. I'm really thinking about changing but I think it's too late now to do that. I was at this female doctor and she talked and tell me what i need to hear seeing i was a first time mom she did a lot of examination than what he would do. I went to him in the first place because he's connected to the hospital that want to go this was where me and my brothers were born . so that's the only reason I went to him

I wouldn't worry so much with the movements sweetie... I have to say my son, who just turned 6 mos, was a very very lazy baby but came out perfectly normal and healthy with all his toes and fingers and ONE head! Lol. Some babies are more active than others, doesn't mean anything. In my case, I cant keep my lil' guy still NOW so it doesn't indicate anything for the future either.

Also, keep in mind this is your first pregnancy and although there might be 'some' movement, you dont know what you are really looking for. Now at 6 and 7 and so on, it's gonna feel crazie! Besides, most that feel it very early on is usually not their first pregnancy so they know more as to what to look for.

It is NEVER too late to change doctors. I had 3 obgyn's BEFORE I felt like I found the right one. This is your baby's life at stake and you should be choosy! You are allowed to be. YOU are the mommie.

Sweetie... I understand how important it is with a *certain* doctor; *certain* hospital but dont let that be your final decision in choosing a doctor. If he doesn't have the best interest at heart for you and/or your baby (just wants his money money money) dont you think that is important enough to go look for someone else?

You are gonna be a mom soon and you have to follow your gut instinct. Describing acts that take place as "strange" is a gut instinct. Your insides are telling you something. Listen to them!!!

Good luck hun!

Women feel movement at different times. If you are skinny, you feel it sooner. I think you need to change doctors. Doctor's don't usually take money themselves. That is extremely odd. Have they done any ultrasounds? Were you able to see the baby moving? It is strange that you would FEEL the heartbeat. Maybe you are feeling body movement?
