Whoa!!!! Darlin', if you are only 17, you need not be with a guy that is always in jail! I just came out of a long term relationship a few months ago. Right before I turned 18 I had been with this guy for 2 and a half years. I finally had to end it. Yes I still loved him, I always will. He was my first real love. Nothing will ever replace that. You need to have a serious talk with him before you do anything drastic. Tell him how you are feeling about moving on. Let him know. You never know, he may feel the same way or he just might change.

okay so you've been with him for 5 years. You are right your only 17 and you probably could do better. You don't need a guy that is always in jail, if you two had kids that wouldn't be a great influence. What you need to do is, pack all your stuff, and one day when he is gone, write him a letter. Don't tell him where you are going, just tell him you can't take all his stuff anymore. And if you can go stay at a friends house, ur parents, ur grandparents.....wherever just go there. Hope all is well.
If ya need to talk and if you have Yahoo messanger add me.

Yes honey said and painful as it may be you need to get out of the relationship because before long he will have you going to jail for things he has done and you dont need that. You need to go to college and find you a good job and then look into a relationship. This guy may love you and i know you love him deeply because you have been with him for 5years. Be careful and do what you think is right for you.

Be honest with him. You've been with him since you were 12, girlfriend, it is time to experience the real world. Someone in jail will not be there to adore you as men should!

You have to just tell him that it is over and tell him why. Don't leave the guy wondering why it is over. That is the worste when you dont' know what happened and you think it just came out of the blue. There are reasons it is over and he has to know that.

uh, you have been with this guy since your were 12?????? anyway, definitely it is time to move on, so tell him exactly what you said - "you are always in jail, and i deserve better, so i am moving on up" what is he going to do - he is probably in jail anyway. good luck
