Yesterday, several people from here informed me that my grandmother was going around telling people that my clothes were "innapropirate" amoungst other things. I'm NOT trying to be a rebel! Any tips for how I can get along with my grandmother?
(to show you that I'm not being innapropritae...

I have several other pictures up there as well, to show you that I'm not just showing one "perfect" picture.

I did look at your page yesterday after I had read your grandmother's comments. I didn't agree with her I thought that you looked fine. I didn't say anything because I am not one to disagree with any body's grandma. (your link doesn't work by the way). I have to say that while your clothes are baggy, they could be much worse then they are. I am also not one to judge people by what they ware. I did read a bit of the things that were on your page and you seemed like a decent person, so I really don't know what to tell you about getting along better with your grandmother. She said something about suits and ties and while that to me seems a bit extream maybe the two of you could come to some reasonable compromise, somewhere between your ultra baggy skater look and her suits and ties prep school. Best of luck and keep your chin up. Don't go to her being argumentitive and aggressive, that will only make her want to change you more, show her what a good person you can be and have an adult conversation.

Even if you ARE trying to rebel, what better time then now? Once you get older and have to have a job, you'll have to act and dress the way people want you to or you get fired! Enjoy being young!
It's totally ordinary to have a parent or grandparent who disapproves of your clothes, music, art, friends, philosophy, politics and on and on! My parents did and I still get lectures from my Mom about how I'm not doing things "the right way" (HER way!).
I just ignore her and do what I want. As long as you're not offending anyone or getting kicked out of school, or being mistaken for a hooker or Satan worshipper, don't worry so much about it!
Sounds like your grandmother needs a hobby!

Yeah, I saw what you were wearing and you looked perfectly fine to me...just like any other teenager. She wants you to wear suits and ties to school! Don't wear your pants around the bottom of your butt and show off your boxers...that I can't stand...and maybe try tucking in your shirt when you are around her. I wouldn't go to extreme either way, but talk to her and tell her that this is your style and the style of every other teenager in the Continental US of A.

Most grandmothers dont agree with what kids wear these days. You need to just deal with it or wear more appropriate clothing.
Maybe your parents could talk to her.
You have to remember she grew up in a totally different era than you are and they like to live the past.

I have answered your grandmothers question and told her that your clothes were not innapropriate. You are a teen and need to be a kid as long as you can. Thats what I told her. To let you be a kid while you can.

She would have to be more specific as to how your clothes are inappropriate. Generally speaking, as long as your naughty bits are covered then it is okay. If she means inappropriate for a certain place, that is a different story. You wouldn't wear a speedo to a funeral.

You look fine to me. The only thing she might have a problem with is the fact that you're wearing your pants a little baggy. Older people don't like that.

i dont see anything wrong with the clothes you are wearing...you're a guy who cares what your grandmother thinks...but if you are really worried about what she thinks about you then i would ask her up front what it is that she doesnt like about your clothing,...there is nothing more simpler than that. i more than bet you its due to the hoody and the backward sunglasses...she probably thinks you are falling into a "bad crowd" lol
good luck!!!!
