how do i clean out a bath room vent so the drain will work correctly?

my toilet gurlies and tub backs up sometimes was told to clean out vent pipe on roof

I don't know what it's called but we use a rubber device attached to the end of a garden hose like a bladder. You shove it as far down the vent as possible from the roof then turn on the water, when the pressure builds up enough the bladder will release the water and hopefully flush any blockage out.

its not the vent pipe as the water in the tub is not affected by the outside vent. The water in the commode would be sucked down by the vaccum effect in the pipe if the vent is plugged.. Sorry your problem in in the DRAIN PIPES. There is an obstruction in your drain pipe. check for a sewer clean out plug in the drain system close to where you are having this problem, open it and inspect for blockage.

There are several ways.First you can use draino,but take off the clean out (located atop the front of tub).You can also use a router,and cut the gunk inside loose,then run hot water down the drain for 10 minutes or so.

You can hire someone to do this, or do it yourself. You need to run a plumbers snake down the vent pipe from the roof.

Im not sure I understand the question, your vent and drain are 2 different things, If your drain is clogged try plunging it and removing what ever is clogging it.
