In the spirit of Friday the 13th....

Most apartment buildings and hotels do not have a 13th floor (the elevator #'s run 1 - 12 and then 14 up).

Would you live on the 13th floor? Perhaps you already do but the elevator calls it the "14th" floor!

Well...it has its Pros and Cons.
I myself can get a bit superstitious at times.
But imagine that you could blame any misfortune that came upon you on the floor u're living on!

why not just because The 13Th floor is numbered The 14Th floor in reality it is still The 13th floor. how about having as an address 1313 South 13th Street or 1313 North 13th Street. I think this would really freak people out.

I was born on a Friday the 13th, my father was born on Friday the 13th and I just hit a $200, number on Friday the 13th. I would live on the 13th floor not because I think it is lucky, because despite all the 13 related positive occurrences in my life, I don' believe in luck, good or bad. I feel that I am statistically fortuitous.

Yes, of course why not. I'm not superstitious. But I would rather live on 3rd or 4th floor as I kind of have a phobia and 13th floor is a long way.

When my Uncle was alive he lived on the 13th floor in apartment number 1313. I would do it in a heartbeat. It's just a number...And no, apartment 1313 on the 13th floor had nothing to do with mu uncle's death.

Most buildings have a 13th floor but don't call it that. Yeah, I would. Doesn't bother me,

Personally, I'd rather just live on the first floor - 13 floors would be a long ways to carry groceries!

13 is a good number not bad (Jesus + 12 disciples = 13).

I worked on the "14th" (read: 13th) floor for years and years. The job was great and we loved it. Nothing spooky happened.
