Do you really think we are just a skinbag of blood, bones and brain matter? If so, where did you "learn" that?
Then what is the soul? A possession? Something you try to keep shiny to show to God at he "end of the day"?
Aren't YOU, your soul? Isn't the body a possession, including your brain?
The "Authorities" would have you believe otherwise.
Don't you know better- or is easier for you if you think it is 'all over' when you die. Yea, I bet it is.
But you DO know better, don't ya?

yes, of course we know better we just choose what is easiest to swallow, am i wrong? if we believed in nada after death, then we would have to believe that we evolved from a perfectly synchronized system that came out of nowhere, aka evolution. so where do we begin, is the hardest question of all. do we believe that there is truly someone looking out for us, and that everything we do is being watched? or do we believe in karma? that everything has an equal and opposite reaction. i dont think that any of the aspects look to promising because we all make mistakes.to me, death is like what it all builds up to, a sort of cresendo. but yes, i believe we all have a heart and a soul, some of us just choose not to use them.

I'm not sure I'm my soul, if I do have one. I've certainly been told I have a soul many times by the Authorities, but how can a soul be me?
If you can't experience a soul, what does it mean to have one? Is it just a fingerprint, something that is indeed unique to me, but also something about which I care nothing? If my fingerprint went to hell, why should I care?
Maybe by soul you mean "psychology," my mind. In that case, I suppose I might care about what happens to it in the future, although in the future my psychology will be different, and thus not the Me sitting here now. And of course, if the soul is just psychology, why even bother saying there is a soul? It's just memories and feelings and perceptions at that point.

YOU AND ME AND THE REST OF US.
Don't know anyone who has died and come back to discuss it with us.
You'd think in thousands of years-even millions of years of life on earth--something/someone would have died and come back and told the story.
So my idea is that maybe there is nothing else--HERE-- Maybe we get to continue in space or as bacteria or big buildings and
music.
Don't really care-we have enough to worry about right here. Let's get this right, then worry about later.
