It goes like this:
Halloween
Halloween II
Halloween III: Season of the Witch
Halloween IV: The Return of Michael Meyers
Halloween V: The Revenge of Michael Meyers
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Meyers
Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later
Halloween Resurrection

Those are my favorite movies EVER!
Halloween
Halloween II
Halloween III: Season of the Witch (Side Note: Technically, this movie is NOT part of the Halloween series... If doesn't even have Michael in it... It's about Halloween masks that kill people..)
Halloween IV: The Return of Michael Myers
Halloween V: The Revenge of Michael Myers
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers ( Side Note: There was another version of this movie, the original version, that was called Halloween 666: The Origin of Michael Myers, that was never released. They had to change the movie when Donald Pleasence (Dr. Loomis) died, because the ending of the original would require him to still be alive to continue the story... There was a website where you could order copies of this version (called the producers cut) But I'm not sure it's still around. I can tell you that the producers cut is MUCH better than the one that was released to the public. That's also the reason that Paul Rudd (Tommy Doyle) refused to come back for another movie. Because in the theatrical version, they cut out A LOT of Dr. Loomis's parts, & he didn't agree with that. That was one of this man's LAST movies before he died, & they cut it to pieces. If you can happen to find a copy of this "producer's cut" I woud advise you to buy it, if you can. Like I said before, It's MUCH better than the theatrical version...)
Halloween H2O: Twenty Years Later
Halloween Resurrection
Halloween IX (Side Note: Hasn't been released yet.. It's being written & directed by Rob Zombie who stated on his web site that this movie WILL NOT be a part of the other Halloween series... He says that series is over, this will be a new start. It's going to be his take on the original movie, according to him... which I am INCREDIBLY worried about, but whatever...)

HALLOWEEN 7= HALLOWEEN 20 YEARS LATER-(H2O)
HALLOWEEN 8= HALLOWEEN RESSURECTION
HALLOWEEN 3= SEASON OF THE WITCH
HALLOWEEN 2= THE NIGHTMARE ISN'T OVER
HALLOWEEN 1=THE ORIGINAL, JUST ''HALLOWEEN"
NOW IS A GREAT TIME TO WATCH THESE MOVIES. IT'S THE SEASON! YOU WILL THOROUGHLY ENJOY WATCHING THEM WHETHER IT IS YOUR FIRST TIME, OR YOUR EIGHTH. WHY NOT INVITE SOME FRIENDS OVER, GRAB SOME POPCORN, RAISINETTES, GOOBERS, STUFF LIKE THAT. THAT WAY YOU CAN ALL GET SCARED TOGETHER, ALTHOUGH IT MAY TURN INTO A SLEEPOVER. NO ONE WILL WANT TO GO OR DRIVE HOME ALONE AFTER GETTING A DOSE OF MYERS!
