The Cure.
Even though they are still around (and in the studio again) Robert Smith & Company have the label of being a 80's band.
They are also a 90's band and a 00's band.
Robert is pushing 50 and still going strong!!!

Mine was an obscure punk band that played around the Denton/Dallas area in the early 80's known as "Midnite Lunch".

They didn't start in the 80's, but I am going with Def Leppard. Others are: Poison, Motley Crue, Skid Row, Slaughter, etc. I love my hair bands!
