Are there any Conservatives/Republicans out there who are disgusted with this administration and do not identify with today's "conservative" party? What do you think "Conservative" means and what would you change about this administration?

Lying about WMDs to start a war in Iraq.

Not having enough armour for our Troops.

Illegally wiretapping civilians when it's easy to get a court order to do so.

Saying he will get Bin Laden and then saying he doesn't think about him.

Also:

- Shooting down Stem Cell Research when it can help millions of people with diseases.

- Signing a bill that legalizes torture, and where any American citizen can be declared an Enemy Combatant and whisked away to jail indefinitely.

I'm just disgusted with blithering idiots, but seems all were left to choose from amymore.

There is no chance that Mr. Average American could possibly hope to get elected to the presidency. It requires a huge bank account, friends in big business sometimes going back generations, and years in politics which degrade the moral fiber of everyone involved. (Assuming that some even had it in the first place)

Those that rise to the top have been groomed to get there with no regard of how the average American feels. It's a popularity contest and all of America loses.

If you're disgusted, it means the liberal hate propaganda machine is working.

He didn't lie about wmd's. Even the democrats felt we needed to remove Saddam because of wmd's.

This is a different kind of war. IED's were never really a part of normal combat. The military learned to adjust, they have armor now.

Wire tapping has been a part of the government since phones were first invented, you make it sound like Bush invented it.

The recent bill better defines what torture is. So that the CIA and military know what they can and cannot use in interrogations. It didn't make torture legal.

I'm for stem cell research, just not to crazy about using embryos to obtain it. I read that progress has been made in stem cell research from people who could benefit own cells.

Hope this helped. God bless.

Yes, but I think the most tragic thing is that no matter how disgusted one gets with Republicans, we're left with one option thats really not impressive either. I feel we're all screwed either way the way this election is looking.
