Not sure how to put this… I don’t know if I’m looking for answers or what, but I’ve got to tell someone….

I have this friend, my best friend since I was 8, I can’t stop thinking about his mother. Actually I think I might be in love with her, It hasn’t always been like this, it only started about 6 months ago, after she got divorced. She’s 39 and I’m only 23, but my biggest fear is ruining my friendship with someone who’s like a brother to me. I’ve stayed at their house a thousand times, but last week I spent the night and I noticed she changed clothes after he went to bed, she came back into the living room where I sacked out on the couch in only a night shirt, and from what I could tell,,, NOTHING on underneath. She was defiantly dropping hints, about how it was cold in her room and there hadn’t been any heat in there for almost a year. I played dumb… frankly because she scared the **** out of me. Don’t get me wrong she is sexy as hell, and up till now I’ve only been with one girl…. But I haven’t gotten a thing done all week. I want her so bad I can taste it… But I know what I would so if my best friend screwed my mom, I’d never talk to him again… after I kicked his *** around the block….. It’s all I can do not to call her and ask if she got her heat fixed yet.. …. AHHHHHH

I guess I put this question out wrong... I'm not looking for advice on getting laid. Now that I reread it I guess it came off that way...I guess I was reacting to being in shock from the possiblity that she could actually be interested in me. I care about her alot, and want to take care of her, I think my feelings are sincere, and if it weren't for the fact of her being my best friends mom, I tthink I could spend the rest of my life with her and be happy. I stayed away this weekend but I am going off with them next weekend, I'm going to have to deal with this then.....

There will always be other women you can nail. Of course, there will always be other guys who can be your best friend. I would recommend that you go ahead and throw down. Look at it this way. If you do it, then it's win-win-lose - you and she win, your buddy loses. If you don't, then it's lose-lose-win - you and she lose, your buddy wins. 2 out of 3 happy people is better than only 1 out of 3. So do it! Maybe your buddy won't even find out, in which case everyone wins.

I'm proud of you concerning that you didn't fall for her little hints and took action on them. It's good that you have respect for you best friend. But, the best advice that I can give you is: Just stay your distance until things die down. You don't want to ruin a very long friendship for something that will be temporary. GOOD LUCK!!

Proceed CAREFULLY!!! Like you said, you know what you would do if he was with your mother. If you REALLY think she's coming on to you, you could try talking to her and tell her your concerns. At least it would let her know you are not rejecting her.

you're probably just feeding off your hormones. I wouldn't do anything to my friend that I wouldn't want him to do to me.
