People change every day and they grow and they learn. No, it's not wrong not to know your career goals. It means of the things you've done, you have not found your passion or calling. These days job changes and challenges make it necessary to change with the employment opportunities. One day you may be in sales and the next day in data processing or trash collection or fast food. It's not up to YOU. Follow your heart and don't settle for less for yourself and from yourself. You still have another 30 years to work, kiddo. Make them the best years!!!

I don't beleive it's wrong for someone to not know what they want to do as a career. A career is a life long chice that doesn't come easily. The best thing to do is to find somthing you like, remember it's not always about the money, though the money can be a good thing.

If you work your whole life in a job that brings you down, you've gained nothing, even if the pay was good. So think about it seriously, pray about it, and don't get in a hurry over it.

P.S. take a career aptitude test at college to see what careers meet your taste.

Nothing wrong with that at all... at least you'r aware that perhaps you need some focus. You need to think about the big three: Law, Medicine, and Business. Of those three, you can get started the quickest in business. If you enjoy people and like to listen, a career in sales can earn you a significant income. For example, if you like investing, you can become a stock broker... some easily earn six figures once they are established in the business. Of course, you can always take the entrepreneur path... decide what you love and build a business around it. I was recently in Napa Valley and the balloonists there earn quite a bit to take tourists on a hot air balloon ride... again, they love to balloon, and built a business on their passion. You can do the same. Good luck!

No, it's not wrong. You just haven't found your niche -- where your talents/skills/passions/potential is. Take a career planning course at a local community college. They have tests designed to figure out your strong points, etc. Register with a temp agency and get a feel for different career/jobs. I went out as a temp and landed in the motion pic industry.

The truth is that you already have some idea of what you like to do now the thing is to hone in on what you love doing. Don't worry because you will get there. There are people older than you that have no clue what they want to don't so don't worry you are in good company.

I'm 41 years old and I just started my own business. You're never too old to figure out a life's passion. You can become anything you want to become. Just go for it with everything you have and enjoy it!

no, as long as you are trying to figure it out, and as long as you are still supporting yourself/working hard so that no one else has pick up after you....
