They got lucky and YouTube kicked off in a big way? Google are now a huge company (started by another couple of nerds) and its part of their business plan to get even bigger. At some level they want to compete against Microsoft and being 'cool' is something MS isn't really good at - by grabbing YouTube, Google have aquired another 'cool' asset to expand their empire with.
Hopefully they willn't change the format too much!
Me ......... I like the little man, and he's slowly being removed from the game (shame).

i purchased some chili with beans at Sam's because i tried a pattern and idea it replaced into very solid. I got here residing house and opened a can and replaced into eating it with some crackers and that i had a tumbler of ice tea when I bit on something metallic. It replaced into the decrease back of an earring, i might want to say that wasn't an outstanding deal.

They are the luckiest bastards on earth but I hope that Google don't make people like myself charged us a fee for looking at YouTube because it is one of my favorites. Those are my feelings about this question.

Google knew their competition and went for it. I think if they waited a year other companies would have joined in and bought it for more.

i think they deserve the money, if you or anyone has the drive to make a company worth that much in 2 yrs then i'd say you deserve it as well :D
