i want some advice on what to wear for a sweet 16 party. there are parties like every sat. and i am trying to figure out what to wear. i started to wear dresses and now some girls wear them, then i wore jeans and cute dressy top and now girls wear that too. any ideas on what to consider? im going shopping this weekend to see what i can find but i need suggestions on what to look for. oh yeah not too formal but a little more dressy than casual. also any hair advice cuz i always wear it down and straight.

I would wear a dressy top with jeans. Red is really in style for this season, I would try a Red Quarter length sleeve button up, maybe one that is belted. WetSeal.com has one that I would recommend. Some medium wash jeans with some black flats, heels, or boots would look good.

You should go with a 2 button polo with the collar up, and nice worn-in blue jeans (snug)
For your hair, get a big plastic hair clip. Pull your hair in your hand like you're going to do a pony tail. Press the tail against the top/back of your head with the tail pointing up. Then fasten the clip to the underside of the tail, letting it grab the hair on the back of your head as well. Then let that tail fall over the clip. Its a very cute look, and it keeps the hair back.

i think some nice fitted tight dressy black pants a really nice color fitted button down the middle w/ collar and a very wide belt above your waist and some patent leather pumps very stiletto,and a lot of jewelry and a fly fly purse
