ALL actors are highly overpaid and it doesn't matter how good they are. It's disgusting. I'm also going to include professional athletes and music performers in the highly overpaid category.

A great many of them - Tom Cruise comes to mind, Meg Ryan is another. I realize both of these actors have huge fan followings but they don't compare to actors like Gary Cooper, Cary Grant,
Bette Davis, Audrey Hepburn . . .
and let's not forget (wink wink) James Arness . . . lol inside joke there for ya Sunshine! That man was an actor!

Isn't the more appropriate question here, what movie actor/actress ISN'T overpaid, for mediocre work or otherwise. I don't care if you could recreate the entire sinking of the Titanic yourself... do you really need to make $16 million per performance to do it?
Same goes for pro athletes.

Robert Downey Jr were given a percentage of the flicks fee ticket sales in his contract, thats why his volume is so severe. video clips make truly some money and massive actors are demanding to locate. If its a properly well-known actor they draw human beings into the flicks besides. no longer anybody can act, the solid ones receives a fee properly. comparable to professional athletes, we may be able to;t do what they do for a residing.

All major stars are overpaid. Pro athletes are overpaid too. Teachers can barely get by but entertainment figures make millions. Shows how screwed up society is.

Tom Cruise, Robert Di niro, Brad Pitt any actor like those mentioned are vastly overpaid as they have all had break through movies and are paid to bring their best to work and to boost the pr to the movie
