well jimi hendrix and others were good Gwen stefani has a nice voice janis joplin had a strong voice but listen piss on those little teenie bopper pop bubble gum excuse for singers u listed they arent true artist! they just got a look and thats what sells
now you want artistry and beauty and an angelic melodious voice? try Amy Lee from Evanescence she rules supreme as the best singer

None of the above. I think todays music isn't original enough. They copy other peoples stuff. Pink Floyd is very original and is very much known for this. And cuz of this, they will be legends forever.
