I didn't like School for Scoundrels, it was one of those movies where they show all the funny parts in the preview. Um...Employee of the Month was okay...I'd say the Departed...awesome flick. Its a movie both sexes could enjoy.

I would go for "Man of the Year" for comedy and Robin Williams, "The Departed" for drama and because it's got a terrific cast including Jack Nicholson, "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" for blood and guts, "The Grudge 2" for a scare or "The Guardian" for action. Depends on what mood you and your boyfriend are in.

The departed is going to probably be the best movie of the year so far and cannot be missed, but as a date movie I'm not sure. I am very curious to see how Robin Williams would work out as the President of the United States, so I would probably recommend "man of the year."

Stay away from Texas Chainsaw Massacre it's lame. Man of the Year is pretty good. Whatever you choose above - try going back to the archived or "catalogue" section of your store or netflix or on demand - whatever format you are watching - and watch a classic you havent seen before. maybe "shawshank redemption" or "the godfather" - these are time tested - they were good then and they're good now.

I rented The Grudge on DVD Wednesday night, then went to see The Grudge 2 last night. It was as bad as the first one. I would go for something funny.
