I'm about to be a father for the first time and am sure a bit unsure of what to expect..

Parenting is scary at times. Heart breaking. Great. Awesome. Hard. Full filling.
I could go on and on. Put every emotion you have ever had and put it all together and that is parent hood, because I guarantee you, you Will feel every emotion with your kid at one point in time or another.
Kids are wonderful and can make a person grow up into a wonderful father overnight.
Remember be stern, be compassionate, be loving, and most of all be understanding. I could go on and on but you will and have to figure this out on your own. But it is a wonderful wonderful journey, and you my friend are about to start your own wonderful journey.
Oh yeah one more thing never take for granted every second you can spend with your child because you never know what life lays ahead. So cherish every second.

No! It is so much better. You can't begin to know the joy that a child will bring into your life. Expect nothing more than love. The bond between a parent and a child is something you will never find again in life. Your first child how wonderful for you. Thank God everyday for the gift he has given you.

Until you welcome your child into this world, you really have NO IDEA what a marvel it is! No one can explain it...you will feel such a joy and love....it's incredible...you'll see!!
What you can expect at first is a tiny little helpless thing...one of the greatest things a dad can do (my honey did this for me) is help around the house and all I had to worry about for that first month or so was to breastfeed and sleep!
You will be amazed!! I could have lived my whole life without a child and been happy but now that I have one I cannot imagine my life without him.

Having children is one of the best times in your life. yes it can be hard very tireing, stressful and is a 24 hour 7 days a week job. It can kick your a** big time but the reward of have a child is the best.

It won't feel like it most of the time but then there are those times when you'll say 'yes, this is worth it, this is what it is all about.'
Having kids is the hardest job in the world. (and don't worry, no one knows what to expect)

I'm not sure what you mean? Did someone tell you having children is like having a toy doll? Having kids and raising them right, is the toughest job you will ever, ever have. EVER. So no, if you think it is going to be a barrel of monkeys of fun..... then the answer is no.

There's got to be something pretty special about it, otherwise the human race would end, lol!
Really, I couldn't imagine my life without children. My daughter brings me so much joy (and so much stress), but believe me, the joy outweighs the stress a million times over!
You'll be in love the instant you lay eyes on your new baby, trust me. Congratulations!

Yep. Its the most difficult, most trying and most rewarding thing you could ever do....like your dream job 24 hours a day. Parenting kicks your *** sometimes but the rewards are SO great.
