My friend just turned 26, her husband is 25. She got pregnant unexpectedly and had a little girl 4.5 years ago. Her and her husband got married soon after and they are very happy. Their second daughter is 8 months old, she took a year and a half to conceive.

My friend was using condoms after their youngest daughter’s birth, but got pregnant 3-4 months after giving birth! She is now 20 weeks along and isn’t very happy about the pregnancy. She is a SAHM, and they just moved out a state and her husband started a new job. She said she was not physically or emotionally ready for another baby and after this one they are not having anymore. Her husband was upset at first but now is happy to have another baby.

She finds out today what they are having, I am trying to help her get excited by helping her look for baby stuff and assure her everything will be okay because their first baby was unplanned and its has turned out great.

What else can I do to help her out?

She has nothing to be excited about at the moment. She is may be worried about how they are going to take care of three children with the husband having a new job, in a new State. They may also want to think about a different form of Birth Control besides condoms. Condoms don't seem to be working with three unplanned pregnancies.

i think of searching for toddler stuff is a stunning concept. Take her paying for. Do some thing relaxing along with her AND her little ones so as that she would be able to be reminded how super that's for her to be a mom. as quickly as she unearths out boy/lady throw a celebration with plenty and many crimson or blue, no longer a toddler bathe yet a congratulations celebration. additionally with a clean toddler already she is going to be decrease than an excellent style of rigidity. offering to video exhibit the toddlers for a pair hours jointly as she takes a protracted bathtub or receives her nails achieved or some thing like that would additionally be a fashion which you are going to be able to assist her.

I honestly think that if she doesn't feel ready to have another child, she should consider adoption. I think as a friend, you should remind her that she does not have to raise this baby if she doesn't want to. Beyond that, I think the only thing that is going to help her to deal is some time to let it all sink in.

Take her out to shop for pregnancy clothing for herself. There are very pretty clothes for pregnant women in the stores. So treat yourselves for a shopping day and maybe a spa.
