The greatest Celtic, and in my opinion, the greatest all around player of all time is Larry Bird. He was the personification of Celtic basketball.

A VERY CLOSE SECOND is the great Bill Russell. Nobody won more championships than him.

I would probably put Havlicek next, and then Cousy. Not sure where I would put Red because he wasn't a player. But he WAS most certainly the architect of the great championship teams of the 50's and 60's and one of the greatest coaches of all time.

havilcek known for the play when he steals the ball and they win the game at the nba finals
