Because you become invisible as you get older. Every one passes you by and nothing you say or do matters any more. It is like that song "Memory" from Cats. They look back on their life when the did matter and when they were young. You have to admit the media the marketing are all about young people. The old still have a lot to say and do have good advice learned from their experience.
