How many nominations has the Colbert Report had? Is the popularity of these shows proof of the liberal agenda in america?

I don't think either show has won near enough awards.
Chill out.
Both of these shows exist simple to point out the absurdities that surround us. They are both very entertaining and well written. It's shows, such as these, that keep many of us from going completely insane over the the current state of our government and politics in general.

I don't know the answer to that. I know Colbert was nominated at the Emmys, but didn't win and that Daily show won for writing. I don't think it shows any sort of liberal agenda. If the liberal agenda was so popular in the media they wouldn't need these shows! hahaa. I think they are out there to ask questions of the government and how government actions are reported not only to the people by the press but also to the press by the government. Just my two cents and I could go on....but I don't want to bore everyone!

Those shows are funny, but the people who take them seriously are misguided youngsters who think that being sullen and cynical about everything is the way to go. They think they're really "into politics" because they watch Jon Stewart! LOL

I mean I myself enjoy these shows they are amusing, but I watch Fox news for amusement also. I dont take them seriously or get real news from either.
