i think red roses lose their meaning after so many are given in a short period of time. i told my boyfriend i didnt want red roses anymore, that my favorite was the yellow rose, so then he bought those for me all the time. after a while, i kinda wanted to get some red ones again...lol

ENJOY THEM ROSES NOW... WHAT EVER THE COLOR... Because when you get married there is no more money for 90$ roses,,, Roses are kinda roses... No matter what i,,,f they come from the florist. It almost sounds like he is trying to control the gifts... Maybe he is planning on using the red ones when he proposes? What is he saving the red ones for .. Your inauguration speech???

I personally always get yellow roses from my hubby, even on Valentine's Day. Why yellow? Because they are my favorite and his as well. I never get tired of the yellow ones. I don't go much by the meaning of the color of roses. It is the thought that counts. Besides mine writes such wonderful messages on the card, the color doesn't really mean anything.

I love getting roses, it doesn't matter what color they are. It's the thought that counts. I always get red roses for my b'day which also happens to be Valentines Day. I never get tired of getting them.

be happy that your boyfriend puts some thought into it, whatever his reasons. roses are still beautiful, no matter the color, no? i have a friend whose boyfriend routinely gave her white roses, simply because that's the color she liked! i think that it doesn't matter.

I'm tired of getting red roses. My favorite flower is the orchid. I think it just depends on what your favorite flower is and he should know that so he can give them to you.
