Yes. It's a bad idea for a number of reasons.
Before you do anything, check what your company's policies are concerning dating in the workplace.
Even if there isn't a policy, I'd strongly recommend not doing it.

There's a saying that I learned after a workplace romance turned fatal freaky attraction.....
NEVER SH*T WHERE YOU EAT!
Leave it alone, cause then going to work becomes EXTRA stressful as if it isn't LABOR already having to get up and go be around people who you sometimes would prefer NOT seeing.

as long as you dont do it at work, then go for it. Yes, every company has no dating among employess rules, but does anyone care? I mean, how can they enforce that?

the rules are that you cant date anyone you work with. you need to speak to HR.
