I think crying is healthy, not just for females, but for males too...I am not a natural crybaby, I only cry at the death of a loved one, or when i'm exceptionally angry beyond the point of speech?

Well i guess i do cry a lot. I know i sound like a cry baby but i cant really help it. I guess im just that sort of person.

Im like you when it comes to being angry beyond the point of speech. Sometimes when im having an argument i just want to cry.

But at funerals i dont cry because it doesnt really kick in that they have ACTUALLY gone until about a week later.

I also think that crying is healthy because i think keeping back tears can make you ill.

When i was younger i was hit by my step mum quite a lot and this effected me. This probably made me cry the most because i still get upset even thinking about it.

I know ive gone on a bit of a rant but i just thought id say what i felt.

Hope it helped answer your question!

Have to admit to being a bit of a blubber....! You should have seen me last year, I organised and ran a convnetion in Spain but my wife could not be with me. Missed her like crazy as she had contributed towards the organisation of the convention. As I was running th edarn thing, I had to get up and speak to the delegates all the time. When ever I tried to thank my wife in a speech I just lost it and blubbered all over the place! The delegates thought it was funny and made a joke of it, which was OK as it was a icebreaker for people to use when chatting!

I cry often enough, the last time i really cried was when i helped an old man back to his house. He was drunk and could barely walk, but his eyes looked like my dad's who died exactly a year to the day before that date.
I wished that was my dad i was helping, but alas it wasn't. It was another who would not remember the event in the morning.
I cry, we have tear ducts for a reason, simple as that, don't hold back just let it out.

I have a theory that is why so many out live men, simply because they keep their emotions bottled up, and do not cry.
We laugh naturally, then why do we not cry the same way!
Who made up the rule, men and big boys don't cry?

Me personally, I cry at the adverts! And cry if I am unhappy and I cry when I AM happy, and cry when angry too! But I feel better for it, I can sincerely recommend it! (sniff)

I think crying is healthy too. i dont cry enough i think. Im one of those people that holds it in until i come to a breaking point and it just flows and flows.holding it in to the point i do is not healthy. Im working on it though. i try to let things go. My stepmother has made me cry the most. i swear she doesnt like me and i think shes jealous of the relationship my dad and i have (we like to do the same things, have same taste in music, and sometimes talk about stuff that happened before he met her, though i try not to do it when shes around). I cry when im mad too. i dont hit, and i dont like confrontation, but when i am push to a point i will verbally let the person have it and then ill go off and cry. Thats only happened maybe 5 times in my whole life.

At times I would say crying is healthy but if one cries too much that could mean a number of things and depression is right up there at the top of the list.

Yup - I cry a lot!! And most of the time it's happy tears - when something really touches me. My dad once said I would cry at the ribbbon cutting of a new supermarket, and, whereas, that isn't true, there are times when I think my bladder is hooked to my tear ducts. I guess I just have tender feelings that translate into tears.

I cry once or twice a week. Usually just the odd tear I only sob when I row with someone. I am pregnant now and am even more tearful. I love being able to cry some people just cannot do it.

i've done quite a bit of crying in my lifetime. for the death of my firstborn daughter, for my baby's father getting his ex pregnant (while i was 5 months along with our second child), for my mother being disabled, for my father having an affair, for my family falling apart, it seems the list never ends. and there were plenty of times i cried for no reason at all. it's a form of release, you become so full of emotion from pushing all of your emotions deeper and deeper inside of you, eventually it must come out. crying is something that needs to happen, it's a completely natural thing, and in time, it will help you feel better.
