Don't be bashful. Youngsters are naturally inquisitive. They reach a certain mental age and ask questions of every subject. You must answer honestly and seriously. Ridiculing them will mean they never ask a you question again and will find other, less reputable ways of finding answers to their problems. Above all, remember that their shells are nothing but a cover. Give them a hug. They'll thank you for it.

As in, trying to escape ? If so get 1/2 inch barbed wire and cover the tank, 1/2 inch because it wont filter about the UVB rays on top of the turtles basking spot.

Get them their own PC ,they will be able to log into Yahoo Answers and get all the questions they are curious about resolved.Yahoo might open a new catagery for turtles.

If you mean explore the world then what I suggest you should do is put a mixture of dirt, leaves, rocks and a small dish with water that way it looks like a pond in the bath tub.

if it's with each other, and you're not ready to care for baby turtles, the best idea may be to seperate them for a little while. If you have more than two, seperate them by gender.
