Don't just pick from one team, the 10 points will go to the most informed baseball fan, who actually answers the question in it's entireity!

Here are my takes

A's - Frank Thomas. So far in the post season he has an OBP of .381 (tops on the team) with a total of 12 Total Bases (second most on the team). He only has 2 HRs and 2 RBIs through 5 games, but he is getting on base, which can be key for the A's to start scoring some runs. He isn't the "Big Hurt" he was a long time ago, but if the A's win, I'm sure it will be because of Frank Thomas getting on base.

Tigers - I'm going to go against the odds and go against others and actually say Kenny Rogers. I know it is weird to name a pitcher as the MVP, but yep..I said it. With the year Kenny Rogers had with the Tigers this year and the postseason he's had so far, he's a major contribution to the Tiger's sucess. For Kenny to get it though, I think he would have to have 2 starts in the World Series and have superb outings and shut the other team down.

Mets - I think for the Mets you can plead a case for Carlos Delgado. Again, I'm going against all the limelight of Glavine or Beltran or even David Wright. Delgado is having a pretty good postseason. He leads or ties the team in hits, HRs, total bases, OBP, slugging %, and average. This not to mention he doesn't make a whole lot of errors, only making 8 during the regular season.

Cardinals - If the Cardinals win the WS, it will because of one of two reasons. The first reason would be because of Pujols. No doubt, one of the best players in baseball and is a threat with the bat and has good defensive skills. The second reason would be because of that guy that steps up if Pujols slumps. If that is the case, I think it would be one of two guys: Carpenter or Belliard. Both of these guys so far are having pretty great postseasons - Carpenter on the mound and Belliard with some good timely hits and his impressive defense as of late.

Any way it goes with the teams, the World Series should be a good one.

A's - Milton Bradley
Mets - Carlos Beltran
Cardinals - Albert Pujols
Tigers - Curtis Granderson

I chose Bradley because he hit 2 homers in game 2, and drove in 3 or 4, and he's a great player.

Pujols because he could win NL MVP, he has playoff experience, and he hit 49 out of the park, with a .331 average, and he drove in 137.

Beltran because he will probably be 3rd for NL MVP, he hit 41 homers and drove in 116.

Granderson because he's been great against the A's.

Go A's!!!!!

Hard one to say.

Although, with the way the Tigers, Placido Polanco has been playing he may get the vote.

Don't forget to keep an eye on Granderson, Pudge, Monroe, Ordonez and Inge. I would add Guillen but, he is at first now that Casey is injured.
