It would be a hole in the ground, coated in white plaster- or better yet, pebble-tec. Surrounded by a pretty deck made of either wood or perhaps flagstone. A few chairs, some umbrellas- then fill it with water. Add a pump, filter and some chemicals and... voila'
a swimming pool.
add a cooler of your favorite malt beverage and some nubile young ladies in bikini's to top it all off.
