Its me again. I'm going to talk to the President of the Rape Crisis Society about rape statistics for an article for the paper that i work for. Any ideas?

Remember to ask about the estimated unreported rapes because of the stigma attached.
Ask her what is done to ensure the confidentiality of the victim.
Ask her about new legislation and laws re rape.
You could also talk about statistics based on geography. Like where are the most committed.

What means of action are they taking to inform the public about rape and where can someone go if this does happen?

I would ask if rape victims were later in life found to have emotional trauma? Does this coorelate with age when the rape took place?

ways to prevent rape would nice to see in the paper (for a change) take a proactive approach to ending rape, not just the usual " poor little nobody was raped by her uncle..." I know we should all feel sympathetic but that gets old and its obviously isn't working....

how about what is being done to repeated offenders who go thru the system, are released, then rape again?
