Why do people make everything hard?

I mean some of the simplest things are turned into ****** rocket science. Why must it be a long and complicated journey to do anything now adays. Does anyone else feel this or am I the only one?

An example, for instance, would be helpful. What things do people make hard?

Seems to me, lots of people make lots of things easy.

(Nothing's easier, for instance, than going to amazon.com and buying something.)

There are many things responsible for this. People seem to be missing basic common sense nowadays. Too many things distract people and make something appear to be complicated. Trying to accomplish anything through calling up a company and dealing with customer service is a nightmare. Folks don't seem to be as smart as they used to be too. Our society has gotten more complex, but people seem to either lack common sense or intelligence (or both). And everyone is busy... very, very busy... too busy! Quality appears to be going down the drain.

People here spend entire work days trying to go out of their way to look like they are working while doing absolutely NOTHING.

It is amazing! And not to mention the; " Making rocket science of nothing." As you mentioned. I suppose they feel it makes them seem more intelligent than they actually have the abiity to become? Easier than actually ever learning anything I suppose?

I see where you are coming from....people do like to make things more difficult than they need to be. A lot of people like to over analyze situations, and I think in today's society, it's harder for people to just "go with the flow" or to be spontaneous.
