to know to build a house? Im only 24 i own one now but never built I don't wanto to start off blind any advice or literature will be appreciated....

do i try and get the loan first or look at home models i like first? and than what do i have to be careful with, etc

I don't know if you literally plan on building your home yourself or if you hire a builder, but find a bank or lender who offers construction loans. They'll be able to help you.

Here is a good idea.... hire a foreman to advise you on how to build it.
I hope you are not planning on having a basement, that is a lot of work.
And there will be some things that you will have to have certified techs do, like the eletric work... otherwise good luck with the insurance companies.
