A new book, "Tempting Faith: An Inside Story of Political Seduction," by a top executive in Bush's faith based inititiative program accuses Bush of courting evangelical voters for political gain and then ridiculing them behind his back, calling them "nuts" and "goofy." Does Bush really care about these evangelical voters or is he just using them? Bush talks a good game about moral values, but has he really done more than just talk a good game?

When it comes to faith or morals, Bush and the Republicans are all talk. Their actions speak something completely different.

Bush cares about one person, and one person only and his iniitals are GWB. The whole religious thing is just a facade he came up with the win over the bible-beaters - and it worked! He just wants to look good in the history books (won't happen) and to appear as one good old boy who cared (he didn't and doesn't). On his first day out of office he'll probably get drunk and go snort some cocaine - hardly Christian virtues.

The very nature of religious grouping is a indicator that one dogma does not fit everyone.

It will be next to impossible for any one political party to hold the Religious constituents for more than a brief episode.

Something to make the religious conservative "think" they are needed. A sorry look at the state of America's religion.

Iam gonna go along with "bostonian's" comment as long as there is a vote in there somewhere, then he is cool with them. NO VOTE, NO COOLNESS from George Bush.

Only as long as he can count on their votes. Those days are probably over now. Thankfully.
