It's gonna be a bit of a tough road to hoe convincing anyone that Democrats are more opposed to pedophilia than Republicans are! Judith Levine, anyone??? LOL

Nothing because pedophiles will still break the law. Neither can the republicans fix it. However, its the GOP that has pretended to be holier than thou. The Democrats have never pretended that.

No additional legislation is needed. Sex with a minor is illegal in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. That said, simply passing a law won't prevent the conduct, it will only codify the penalty for violation of the law.

There are already laws on the books that are against sex with minors. The Democrats will enforce them where the republicans did not.

I think a democratic controlled congress will be too busy fixing all the SHI* the republicans have done in the last 8 years to worry about too much else.

None needed. The laws are already there. What we won't do is wait YEARS before addressing such an issue.
