Rep. Ney pleads guilty; GOP vows ouster.
WASHINGTON - Republican Bob Ney pleaded guilty Friday in the Jack Abramoff influence-peddling investigation, the first lawmaker to confess to crimes in an election-year scandal that has stained the Republican-controlled Congress and the Bush administration.
Standing before Judge Ellen S. Huvelle, Ney pleaded guilty to conspiracy and making false statements. He acknowledged taking money, gifts and favors in return for official actions on behalf of Abramoff and his clients. He says this has been the American way and the Republican way.
Ney did not immediately resign from Congress, and within minutes, Republican and Democratic leaders were requesting him to step down.

This is only another demonstration of how we need serious reform and reconstruction in the House and Senate.
We all know politicians are underhanded and corrupt, but it's our job as the American People to implement change.
Are the Republicans still full of pride?
Hell, yes. Just as much as any other person or group who represents and stands by their beliefs in how the nation, state, or community is run.
I think Democrats and Republicans, Liberals, Ect. should spend less time, money, and energy trying to attack the otherside, and exhaust themselves in thinking and planning for a new America that represents the voice of the People of the United States.
We are, regardless of race, religion, or belief the voice of America. It's time we bring it back to the old school, and be heard.

As a Republican you bet I am. This crook has quit and could and most Republicans hope is heading for jail. What about William Jefferson. Caught with $100k in his freezer and still fighting like a cried baby; at least the Republicans admit it and do their time. Can't say that about the Democrats can you.

Your question lacks correct structure. If we were once prideful as you state, then we could not be still filled with pride, as you referred to our pride in the past tense.
That being said, please piss off.
Oh, and you got nothing to say about Reid and his real estate???? Typical Moonbat.
