What are requirements for foreigners who want to teach English in Dubai? Do they have to be native English speakers or not? If they don't, do they have to be graduated professors of English or not? Would it be enough if a person holds a certain degree in TOEFL or Cambridge? If yes, which degree? In what type of schools are there those positions? What about holding private lessons? Finally, how well is paid this job? Thanks a lot

Requirements:
Requirement will depend based on the class level that you will be teaching. The higher the class, the heavier the requirements will be. A good degree level education and Teaching Experience of 1 to 2 years or even more are the basic requirements for most teaching jobs.

Native English Spakers or not ? :
Most Dubai Jobs that I have read clearly state that they seek people from UK, USA, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia or Ireland and other similar countries. If you have excellent communication skills, teaching skills, I don't think there is any bar based on your tongue! One could be native and not have other requirements met, yet one could be none native but be an excellent candiate of other requirements. Most english teachings are not only about written English, but also about the Spoken English. If you are master of the both, nothing will stop you.

Degree in TOEFL or Cambrdige ?:
Not many accept TOEFLs but Bachelors Degree

Types of Schools:
Mostly Private Schools

Can I hold private Lessons ?:
Yes you can.
