Have you told your midwife about it? It may be down to how the baby is laying, or the effect of hormones losening up your joints (which can sometimes be quite painful and needs treatment), or it could be several other things. Whatever the cause it is obviously worrying you so best to get it checked out by a professional who can examine you.

Lower left back or lower left abdomen?
Most likely it is round ligament pain or some other ligament stretching. Unfortunately, pregnancy aches and pains will get worse from here on out.
If it is on your back, have hubby give you a soft massage in that area until it is a little red.
Best of luck and congratulations on your soon to be baby!

I had Sciatica (apols for spelling) for the majority of my pregnancy. This could be a possibility. I would go see your midwife and she will be able to tell you if this is the case. If you experience any pains that you are worried about they are always there to advise you.

The baby is probably pinching a nerve. It happened to me when I was pregnant. I would discuss it with your doctor though. It could be your kidney as well.

Your best bet is to ask your doctor. We all can relate from our experience or can speculate about what it could be. With a baby, it is best to call your doctor.
