actually take days, what could this be? It started this about a week ago.

I have been buring from this laptop for two years now, usually only takes about 10-15 mins... but the past week it has been very very slow.... literally days.
I know somethings wrong, what could it be? What should I check for? Any suggestions?

it can be several thing have you defraged lately and have you checked how much hard drive space you have left also have you reinstalled the OS latley as after 2 year of heavly use a lot of systems can use reformating due to all the junk the avarage user tends to DL and del

You might have a slow recording speed (say 2x) and you are trying to burn it in HiMat format. On my computer (16x burning speed), it takes 3 hours to burn one CD with 5 tracks on it.

all microsoft products will say the same mate.. dont worry.. it will not take that long..
