Neither. Physician's Formula has a mineral wear line and MAC is just overpriced makeup. I stick to my Loreal, Max, CG, etc.
P.S. You usually can match the "high priced" stuff with less expensive makeup and get just as good if not better results. Shop around before you spend 40 bucks for a compact.

For eyeshadow, definately MAC. They have more colors, textures than Bare Esscentuals. However, for foundation nothing beats Bare Esscentuals.

MAC for anything. bare escentuals hella sucks. my mom's friend got it, and it looks like she's not wearing any makeup...in a bad way! lol. MAC is so much better.

MAC High Pigments, however you can get the same in the Loreal HIP for less (not as many colors), but same great quality. MAC MAC MAC!!!

I've recently taught myself that its ok to spend $13.50 on their eyeshadow cuz it ROCKS! I also use their "paint" on my eye lids before putting the shadow on adn it doesnt go ANYWHERE...
MAC ROCKS!
(ps did u know if you bring in 5 empty mac containers you get a free lipstick from them?)

I've gotta tell ya, I've tried BE and just didn't like it. I found that it creases, doesn't last, colours are ugly and the skincare caused acne. I also have to scrub my bathroom sink to get it off. I've never heard of MAC. I'll have to google it.
