Although there are women who look good with short hair, as a general rule the answer is yes. After all there is no more starkly representative feature of a women's femininity then a flowing mane of luxuriant hair cascading down the delicate curves of her body.
It's too bad that you don't see waist length or longer hair on many women anymore.

I think that most men like long hair on women best, but I also think a woman should like her own hair style. She should wear her hair the way she likes it (over what anyone else likes).. If you like it that's all that matters, everyone else will get over it.

I dated a girl with short short hair when I was in high school. It kind of felt like making out with a dude. It doesn't have to be like Lady Godiva, but longer than Ellen.

depends on the woman. Looks best on younger women in my opinion. After 55 it should probably be shortened

depends ...some women look good with long hair ....and some look good with short hair ...i like about shoulder length
