Probably because, when you run your own business, you see all the loads of paperwork that you need to fill out, in order to comply with Government mandates. Republicans, traditionally, have been the party of smaller, less-intrusive Government, promising small business owners that they (the Republicans) will lighten their paperwork burden.

Because they know that tax cuts are best for them, not raising the minimum wage. Think about it why do demarcates want to give more money to people by raising the min wage not by cutting there income taxes. If they cut your income taxes you have more money to spend at the small businesses and they(Democrats) have less money to spend. Less money less power. By the way republicans support big business because they employee the most people. More people making money and spending it. It's called economics. I wonder how many people that work for GM own GM cars. If you raise the min wage it costs small business more of there net income so they cant employ as many people and there business does not grow as fast.

I'd like to see you source for this information. My sources tell me just the opposite, that small business owners feel that the Republicans put more barriers in their way, while favoring large business interests.
So, while you want us to make the distinction between "all" and "most," I'd like for people to make the distinction between "what they think is so" and "what I know is so."

they don't look to be. The republican social gathering is an unholy alliance between huge organization and bible thumpers. i could guess an equivalent form of small organization vendors are democrats, and a huge majority of them hate the neo-conservative Bush regulations that shifted the tax burden to them.

I don't know. It seems like it should be the opposite though. Everyone knows Republicans are for big business.

because they believe in working hard and making a living. they are enterprising and have strong work ethics.
they do not want the gov or anyone else to take care of them.

maybe it is because most republicans have a lot of cash.........(another stereotype lol) and therefore can get loans and financing to start a buisness a lot easier than say...........a poor lower class liberal?
