This is my first time replacing a clutch. This clutch has about 1/16 of an inch. Is that enough or should I purchase a new clutch?

i own a repair shop, and if that's all it has its time for a new one ,they should have around a 1/4 of an inch on them at least,i have replaced a lot of them with a little more on them than yours has,,it always a good idea to replace it if you have it out,,then you don't have to re-do it later,it just saves time and money and possible break downs in the future, good luck i hope this help,s.

My advice is if you have the transmission out go ahead and replace the clutch. If it is that thin you will be replacing it in about 3 months. If you live in the city.

Your clutch facing has lines on it kind of like tread on a tire and if the disc is close to appearing bald like a tire with low tread then you have to replace.... Seeing as how you have it out you should replace anyway to avoid doing it again in a few months..

There is enough there to last at least 6 months or more. I would wait awhile on that.
