Three days ago, I would have said the Tigers - hands down. But now with Casey gone (likely for the rest of the post-season) and Zumaya hurting, it casts quite a shadow of doubt.
That being said, they still have the best balance top to bottom - pitching and hitting, and they have the biggest advantage in their dugout . . . so I'll stick with the Tigers.

I am hoping that Saint Louis Cardinals win this year!!!!!!
I live near Saint Louis, and it would be so awesome if they won!! (or at least got to the world series!)

Both teams haven't won it for a long time and deserve to win it all!

The New York Mets. plain and simple
they have the best lineup left in the playoffs (stl has been playing awful and well detroit has sean casey injured but they're decent with casey) and they have a stellar bullpen including billy wagner as their closer.
best lineup + best pitching = world champs simple.

WHAT??!! IM READING THE ANSWERS AND I DONT SEE ANY YANKEES.. ARE THE YANKEES IN THE WORLD SERIES?? OMGOSH I NEED TO LOOK THIS UP sorry for taking up space on this question...but if the yankees are still in this thing then its the yankees...otherwise anyone but the mets and the red sox...wow im really out of it today.
