my friend aurie is haveing a baby by my geography teacher at stall high school. she doesnt know if she should keep it or not because she dont want her mama to know how old her babys daddy is. what should she do?

Wow, i assume this is a young woman and this is a lot to deal with. There are numerous pregnancy resource lists that can provide counseling on adoption options, services to help her support and keep the baby etc.
One thought: She doesn't have to name the father on the birth certificate. She doesn't have to ever reveal who the father is/was at all so that would be an option.
you don't say how far along she is or what kind of support she has from her parents, relatives, and the community.

Wow.. thats soo shocking!
First off the teacher should be fired.... thats so wrong if that girl is like younger and the teacher is older... but then again she should be open about this and have someone to talk to.. and she also needs to be sure that she is pregant and that it is his...she needs to ask the geography teacher what she should do... and if it hasnt been 72 hours she can take the morning after pill.... or ECP i think thats what its called... Good luck with your friend... and tell her to wear protection nexted time.. !

If it were me...and I was still in High School...I'd have an abortion. My daughter is a handful at 4 months old and I am thankful everyday that I never got pregnant in high school. It's too much to deal with and most likely she'll wind up having to stop going and will sacrifice her diploma for a GED if she decides to pursue that. It's her choice though. She should do whatever she feels is truly right for herself.

Tell her mother that she is pregnant by the geography teacher. He shouldn't have slept with her in the first place. It's more his fault than hers.
