I would do whatever it takes to make sure my daughter financial security was in tact, because I feel like as a mother I owe that to her.

I will make sure I am at peace with Jesus, the creator and savior of the world, because it is to Him and only Him we have to give an account for our lives. I suggest that everyone reading my answer do likewise because death is coming (any second now); tomorrow is not promised. Jesus loves us and died for us. He was dead but now He lives, seated at the right hand of His Father. He is soon to come to Judge the Earth and establish His righteous kingdom for all eternity. Do you know Him? Ask him to forgive you for your sins; confess Him w/ your mouth after believing in your heart and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Where is your hope beyond the grave?

I would like to take my family and go on a very long vacation to Australia and Tasmania. No real reason why, but, I have always wanted to visit Tasmania.

I would remind my stepson that despite all the hardship and setbacks he has encountered. He is capable of great things and has my love and admiration.
