(although true, the six doesn't matter because it stops here)
the numbers aren't part of the code. they're a hint. what's the relationship between the numbers and the words? also, each word hides a letter. keep counting. the message is a password.
My friend gave me this code...I want to know the message but I cant figure it out!

don't know the answer, but I think that the last numbers are the numbers of letters in the words, maybe that will help for starters.

I came up with " I got to Italiano."
l =5th letter of Grill
Got: the 5th letter plus all three letters of the word 'got'
= I got
to: after the word 'got' add too = I got too
Italian: 7th letter of Italian is n
Tomato: 'n' plus 6th letter of the tomato 'o' = no
Now you end up with " I got to Italian-no (Italiano).
Best I came up with lol.
If not ---it is a trick that simply says "Grill got to Italian tomato"
