the eye of Ra, watches over all - has turned into
the "all seeing eye"
If you look closely at the american 1 dollar bill, you will notice a pyramid in the centre with a capstone on top not quite touching it . In the capstone is an image of an eye - the "all seeing eye"
there are legends about it and I'm sure you can google it and get tons of info, but a good website to browse about is the masons and what they mean to america in general

It symoblizes the eye of Ra, the sun god...
...supposedly, Ra watches over all, and it is a symbol of protection...that is, if you are faithful in the eye of Ra. If you do wrong in the eye of Ra, there can be fatal consequences.
