Anyone preorder the system yet ?

The way I look at the name is that it is different, but look at what the other consoles have as names, the xbox 360? What is a 360 in math? Oh it's a circle.
Same with the PS3, wow we just added a three to the end of our system's name. How smart of us.
Look at all the weird names that have existed, like Yahoo, google, etc. Those names were once considered weird and now they're a normal word, the same will happen with the Wii as well.
personally I would rather care more aboot the gameplay then the name. So if the gameplay is great then the name can be called whatever.

Yes, calling it the Wii is stupid but I'm already getting over it, and no I haven't preordered.

It is spelled Wii. Stupid? What did the Reggienator say...? Oh yeah! "Sleep with it, live with it, play with it." I've been promised one this Christmas.
