No you can't. You need to decrypt the DVD prior to copying it. Your best bet is to find a piece of software on line that will enable you to copy DVDs using your DVD-RW drive in you PC, something like DVDxCopy (no longer produced, but if your resource full you can find it, bittorrent, irc, etc). I would also suggest you try the website http://www.videohelp.com/ it is a great resource for all things digital video related.

No, you have to do it on your computer.
download FABDVD Decrypter.
this will clear out all the region and copy protection stuff.
Next, if you don't have a dual layer burner, or don't want to buy dual layer DVDs use DVD shrink to make the file less than 4.7GB. You lose some quality, but it is hard to notice. I usually scrap all the previews and interviews etc that is not the movie.
Then burn it to a disk to watch later.
I only do this because I don't get around to watching a rented video before I have to return it.
Yeah, that is my story and I am sticking to it.

It is tricky. I've tried hooking the DVD player through tivo and recording it manually on time/channel but something always goes wrong, either TiVo winds up recording a blank screen or it works flawlessly the one time until tivo decides it isn't a real channel.

I think there is probably a way to do it, but in the long run it was way too much work.

No, you need a PC with a DVD burner. for 95% of DVDs you have to shrink them and take out the anti-copy crap

I put the DVD in my PC, use DVD Shrink to change the DL 8.5GB DVD in to a single layer 4.7GB then burn it with DVD Decripter

I copy movies all the time over 250+ DVDs
